Producing musical theatre is expensive! Producing quality
musical theatre is even more so. Many people do not realize just
how much money it takes to put on a large-cast show. The box at
right shows an example of some of our expenses for a recent show
that was performed on the LHS Main Stage:
So, where does IMP get enough money to perform a show? From ticket sales
and donations. Unfortunately, the revenue from ticket sales is often
around the $24,000 mark, leaving a deficit of $14,000.
That's where you come in. Since IMP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
agency, donations of any kind (cash is especially nice) are
100% tax-deductible. If you own a business and wish to provide
sponsorship for some facet of a show, we welcome that as well. Just
call (256) 415-7469 and let us know!
Donations are also accepted at the box office before and during most
performances, or you can make a donation via PayPal® using the links
Thanks for your generosity!
